Brooklyn Academy of Music names Kent Davidson Vice President of Marketing and Communications

Tom O’Connor Consulting Group is pleased to announce that Kent Davidson has been named Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) after our nation-wide search.

Davidson comes from his most recent role as Chief Marketing & Digital Officer at 92nd Street Y, where he collaborated with leaders across the institution to refine and create new opportunities to serve audiences, reimagine the organization’s digital presence, and develop mutually beneficial relationships with other organizations. He led the design of a technology stack that brought the power of Salesforce’s tools to bear in unique, new ways for the performing arts community. 

Prior to joining 92Y, Davidson served as Managing Director and Director of Marketing and Sales for the North American arm of international ticketing distribution/technology company Seatem (parent company of Keith Prowse, Globaltickets, ENTA, and Ticketswitch).

Kent received a B.A. from the University of Houston and, in addition to having served as Chair of the Performing Arts Center Consortia Marketing Group, he regularly shares learnings at Tessitura and Salesforce community events.
