Kate Brandt
Consultant
Kate is a consultant with more than 20 years of experience in arts marketing and fundraising. As an interim marketing director, Kate has worked with Laguna Playhouse, Music Worcester, and A Noise Within. She has done consulting work for Berkeley Rep, ACT Contemporary Theatre, Merrimack Repertory Theatre, Pittsburgh Public Theatre, and Los Angeles LGBT Center Theater. As a staff member, Kate directed the marketing departments at Trinity Repertory Company, Merrimack Repertory Theatre (MRT), and Artists Repertory Theatre. She also worked in Massachusetts at Old Sturbridge Village and Foothills Theatre Company and in Oregon at Portland Center Stage and Broadway Rose Theatre Company. She is a graduate of the honors program at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management where she studied both marketing and theater. Kate is based in Auburn, MA where she lives with her husband and two sons.
Kate’s work is rooted in evaluating and improving marketing and communication strategies, using data analysis to exceed goals with limited resources, and maximizing efficiency through strong project management. Her work puts equity, patrons, and data at the center of every decision and is guided by a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines and a belief that good enough is never enough.
